Sir Alan Sugar and Apprentice winner face unfair dismissal claim

Entrepreneur and Apprentice star Sir Alan Sugar is to face an unfair dismissal claim from a senior executive at digital advertising firm Amscreen.

Hanna Sebright, an executive director at the firm, alleges that she suffered bullying, harassment and sex discrimination from Sugar, his son Simon and 2008 Apprentice winner Lee McQueen. Reports suggest her £140,000 claim was lodged with Stratford employment tribunal offices last month.

Sebright became an executive at Amscreen, earning £70,000 a year, when her business was merged into Sugar's company in 2008. She has declined to comment to the press on her employment tribunal claim, and has been on sick leave since April.

Amscreen, however, has acknowledged receipt of the unfair dismissal proceedings and issued a statement that the firm "intends to vigorously defend them".
