IT Help Desk / First Line Support

We're looking for an IT Help Desk / First Line Support technician to join our award winning Legal Firm.

Based in our Manchester Head Office, the ideal person is someone who has a keen interest in all things IT and who has the confidence to help our staff out both over the phone and via email. Experience in a similar position would definitely be an advantage.

The role is to provide first-line fault diagnostics and resolution both through the fault monitoring and trouble ticket system and over the phone where staff will call in with a variety of IT issues and queries. Complex faults are passed onto the Second and Third Line teams, after having been logged on the company helpdesk system. We work to strict KPIs and SLAs; attention to detail and a can-do attitude are essential.

The systems supported are primarily Microsoft, so strong Windows experience is required, coupled with excellent customer service and communication skills; some Apple experience would be an advantage especially with mobile phones.

We support our teams of lawyers and support staff from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and these hours are covered with a rota system which you will be expected to join.
