JMW Bowled Over by Jimmy Anderson Signing

Manchester law firm JMW Solicitors LLP have announced they have signed an agreement to represent England international pace bowler Jimmy Anderson.

Jimmy Anderson, who plays county cricket for Lancashire and recently took 11 wickets in Lancashire's win over Sussex, has just been named one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year and has been short-listed for England's Player-of-the-Year Award.  Jimmy, who burst on to the international cricket scene in 2002 and took his 100^th test wicket against South Africa in 2008, will be represented by JMW's sports law team who offer athletes a complete career management service which includes athlete management, negotiating contracts and sponsorships and advising on IP and media rights.

Jimmy Anderson's signing to JMW's sports law offering comes in a bumper month for the team, led by Head of Sport Ben Haworth, who have recently signed up-and-coming England International's Steven Davies and Luke Wright and Anderson's possible Ashes bowling partner, Stuart Broad.
