JMW shows off its young talent at JCI Awards

Full service law firm JMW Solicitors LLP is celebrating after two of their lawyers scooped honours at the JCI Young Talents Awards.

The JCI Young Talent Awards which recognises outstanding individuals between the ages of 18 and 39 who exemplify the best attributes of Manchester's young people took place on Thursday evening at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.

A specialist Road Transport Solicitor at JMW, won Legal Professional of the Year. specialising in road transport and regulatory law, advising commercial vehicle operators, professional drivers and private motorists on all aspects of road transport law.
In an unprecedented achievement JMW also took second place in this award category with Tasnim Khalid, an Associate in the Private Client team, securing the runner up position.

Meanwhile Nathan O’Connor a Trainee Solicitor at JMW won the Rising Star Award. He was particularly commended for his work in bringing in clients to the Employment department.

Further success came as JMW client Helen Tse, joint owner with win sister Lisa, of the Sweet Mandarin and SA sauces came second in the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Helen and Lisa were seen recently securing investment for SA Sauces on Dragons Den.

Speaking about the firm’s remarkable achievements at the Awards, Joy Kingsley, Senior Partner at JMW said:
