JMW’s Sports Team Sign England All-Rounder Broad

Manchester law firm JMW LLP have announced they have signed an agreement to represent England international cricketer Stuart Broad.

Broad has just been ranked England's Most Valuable Player for the 2008-09 season by the Professional Cricketers' Association beating the likes of Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff. The talented all-rounder was handed a 12-month ECB central contract in September and was short-listed for Emerging Player 2008 at the ICC Awards. He will be represented by JMW's sports law team who offer athletes a complete career management service which includes athlete management, transfer negotiations and contracts, negotiating sponsorships and advising on media rights.

Stuart Broad's signing to JMW's sports law offering comes just weeks after the team, led by Head of Sport Ben Haworth, signed an exclusive agreement to work alongside, AML, a sports management company specialising in the representation of international cricketers from Sri Lanka.

Commenting on the signing, Craig Sackfield, Senior Player Management Executive in JMW's sports law department said:
