Nurse & Midwife Support

There are three nurses/midwives within our clinical negligence team who provide medical support to our legal staff.  They are primarily involved in the investigation stages of cases and liaise with clients to explain any medical issues that arise during the initial investigations.

Tracy Otterman - Nurse/Paralegal

Tracy is a member of the Institute of Legal Executives and has previously worked in Personal Injury. She is also a nurse and her dual qualifications make her a valuable member of the Clinical Negligence team. She has been with JMW for 2 years and is well respected for her calm and common sense approach to clients and colleagues.

Alison Hardman - Nurse/Paralegal

Alison has been with JMW for 3 years and is the senior nurse within the department. She is also a midwife and her up to date knowledge of obstetric clinical practice is invaluable, particularly as the department specialises in cerebral palsy cases.

Alison is highly experienced in Clinical Negligence work.

Jane Faulkner  - Paralegal/Nurse

Jane has very recently joined JMW, primarily as a paralegal. She has a degree in law and plans to continue her training to become a solicitor.  She also has nursing and midwifery qualifications, and worked as a District Nurse for 15 years.
