By way of example, Paul has recently been involved in various major commercial property transactions including acting for the purchaser of a business park in Gateshead, the acquisition and subsequent letting of a major office development in Harrogate and acting on behalf of a Bank in relation to the funding of the acquisition and development of a Manchester city centre residential development scheme. He is also regularly involved in acting for Landlords of major commercial property portfolios throughout the UK.
In employment law, he has appeared in Employment Tribunals, acting for both Claimants and Respondents in relation to unfair dismissal and redundancy matters, sex race and disability discrimination claims and cases involving the Transfer of Undertaking Regulations. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has been involved in cases reaching the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal.
In sports law he has acted on a regular basis for motorcycle race promotions, teams and riders and haspromoted international race meetings. He has been a member of Lancashire CCC and in 2009 he was appointed to the North West Committee of the Lord's Taverners.
In charity law he has been a member of the management committee for the Cheshire children's charity, Friends for Leisure, for over ten years and in 2009 was appointed as both a trustee and director of the charity.
