Peter is a partner and heads the firm's Business Crime and Road Traffic teams; he has almost unrivalled experience as a defence lawyer having been with the firm since its formative years. He has been recognised for several years as 'a leading individual' in the Chambers' Guide to the Legal Profession'.  He has been recognised as having 'considerable expertise in serious crime and commercial fraud'. He is one of a handful of criminal lawyers in the North West region identified by Chambers' as being of the highest rank.

In addition to unparalleled experience as an advocate, Peter has expertise in all aspects of financial, or business crime; he has finely-honed forensic skills and is a robust defender of his clients, whether large or small.
