Manchester Legal Awards – winner and shortlisted
The Manchester Legal Awards celebrate excellence in every legal field, throughout Greater Manchester. JMW Solicitors have the privilege of winning “Firm of the Year” in 2013 and 2014, and winning “Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Team of the Year” in 2018. We were also shortlisted for the award in: 2012, 2013 and 2017.
Claims Innovation Awards – winner

Personal Injury Awards – winner
The Personal Injury Awards ensure that individuals and organisations who have demonstrated excellence in their field are celebrated. They deal with both sides of personal injury law; claimant and defendant, identifying high standards of practice and intending to inspire others to emulate the achievements of the firms and individuals who have been shortlisted and who win. JMW Solicitors were overjoyed to have won “Claimant Team of the Year” at the awards in 2011.
Child Brain Injury Trust
JMW Solicitors has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with this national charity, which supports children and families dealing with the issues surrounding an acquired brain injury. We are proud to be their sole legal support services provider in North West England. Our legal support services ensure that all the children, young people and families that we work with get the right legal support as soon as possible and we are proud to work together to ensure that we are providing the right approach and facilitating the recovery of the children we work with.

Headway
Headway is a nationwide organisation that promotes understanding of brain injury and provides information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers. It campaigns to reduce the incidence of brain injury. Our Partner, Andrew Lilley, is a Trustee of Headway Preston and Chorley, and we are delighted to have been able to support them through fundraising activities and time provided in kind. We are also proud members of the Headway Directory and offer our support to the charity when we are required to.

Spinal Injuries Association
The Spinal Injuries Association is the leading national user-led charity for spinal cord injured (SCI) people. They seek to meet the needs of those living with spinal cord injury, providing key services to share information and experiences, and to campaign for change, ensuring everyone can live a full and active life. JMW Solicitors have been a member of their directory for a number of years now, having previously provided support for the Vocational Officer post the charity has; a vital part of the charity’s operations. We are currently a Bronze Accredited member.
