Shelby is a Solicitor at JMW working within the Private Client Department. Shelby joined the firm in January 2019 as a Paralegal in the department before starting her training contract with the firm in September 2021.
Shelby has over 5 years’ worth of experience working within this area and is experienced in dealing with matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts, inheritance tax planning, estate administration and trust administration.
Prior to commencing her training contract with JMW, Shelby graduated from Newcastle University with a First Class Law degree in 2016 and then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course and Masters in 2021, achieving a Distinction.
When Shelby is not working, she enjoys cooking and trying out lots of new restaurants. She also enjoys travelling, her favourite destination so far being Cape Town in South Africa.
