Employment Law Breakfast Seminar – Mental Health and the Workplace

Breakfast Briefing

14th February 2018

JMW Offices, 1 Byrom Place, Spinningfields, Manchester, M3 3HG

JMW in partnership with Anxiety UK will be hosting our second workshop in our “People Management” series. In this workshop, we will look at mental health in the workplace. Mental health problems are all too common in the workplace and it is the leading cause of sickness absence. The Mental Health Foundation calculates that a staggering 70 million work days are lost each year due to mental health problems in the UK, costing employers approximately £2.4 billion per year.

Good mental health at work and good management go hand in hand and there is compelling evidence that workplaces with strong levels of mental wellbeing, are more productive. The seminar is aimed at HR and business owners or those responsible for employee wellbeing and absence, in addition to in-house employment lawyers.
