Employees of GHA Coaches Urged to Contact JMW’s Employment Team Following Administration Announcement

JMW has urged former employees of GHA Coaches to get in touch with its employment team following the bus company's recent administration announcement. JMW is on hand to offer advice to affected employees both now and moving forward.

Reports in the press this week reveal that GHA Coaches has been wound up by HMRC following a substantial unpaid tax fee that it was unable to settle. Over 300 employees have reportedly lost their jobs following the announcement. The Wales-based company had control of over 230 vehicles but failed to generate enough revenue to keep itself afloat.

JMW would like to advise former employees of the options available to them following their redundancy and to offer advice and support to everyone affected at this difficult time.

Liz Cotton, a key member of JMW’s employment team, says:

Obviously it is a very difficult and confusing situation for the people affected and we would like former employees of GHA to know that we at JMW are here to help. Our devoted team has successfully handled cases extremely similar to this in the last 12 months including success on the recent Citylink litigation.  Job loss is never easy and it is often the next step in the redundancy process that is most crucial. JMW can guarantee expert advice to assist former employees of GHA and we urge them to get in touch as soon as possible.’

If you are an employee of GHA Coaches and are seeking expert legal advice, please do not hesitate to contact the employment team at JMW. Contact us now on 0161 838 2798 for more information on how we can help.
