JMW Advise Dransfield Properties at Morpeth


Real Estate Commercial partners Peter Chape and Ian Gordon at JMW Solicitors LLP have advised Yorkshire based developers Dransfield Properties Limited in connection with a supermarket scheme at Morpeth, Northumberland.

Planning permission was granted for a Morrisons foodstore comprising approximately 50,000 square feet earlier this year. JMW has been instrumental in acquiring the site and obtaining vacant possession from various third parties, the conclusion of planning agreements affecting the site and the onward disposal to Morrisons. It is anticipated that work to build the store will commence this month. Construction has already started on a new veterinary surgery at Whorral Bank, Morpeth, which is required to re-house an existing veterinary practice at the site.
