Mags joined JMW Solicitors in the Real Estate Finance Department in 2018.
Mags specialises in secured lending; in particular Short Term Finance transactions for a number of lending institutions and bridging finance providers.
Prior to joining JMW Solicitors, Mags built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the residential remortgage sector acting for lenders and private borrowers in Residential & Buy to Let remortgages and Transfer of Equity transactions. Mags has also dealt extensively with properties involving the postponement of charges and the sale of properties under Powers of Attorney and Grants of Representation.
Mags also has experience in acting for High Street and Sub Prime lenders in the recovery of secured lending whether by way of repossession of the property or rehabilitation of the debt, initially at Manchester firm HL Interactive LLP and then at Shoosmiths LLP where she established their Mortgage Rehabilitation Department working closely with litigation managers at lenders creating a bespoke service to meet their specific needs.
Outside of work Mags enjoys reading, walking her dog and spending time with friends & family.
