2nd September 2019 Armed Forces Claims

The Government will announce, later this week, a £5million funding boost for the Office for Veterans’ Affairs. This is welcome news for the newly formed office and demonstrates a firm commitment by the Government to follow through on its promise to do more for the Veteran community.

The office will oversee support and coordinate funding to ensure access to medical treatment, housing, training and employment opportunities for Veterans.

JMW Armed Forces Ambassador, Andy Reid, commented on the news “this is fantastic news and not before time. I believe Johnny Mercer is the right man for this job and with him at the helm, I genuinely believe things will change for the better. He has my full support„.
