JMW raise money for Cerebral Palsy Sport with epic superhero challenge

Superheroes assemble! Or rather members of the JMW clinical negligence team disguised as superheroes for this year’s epic charity challenge.

Yes that’s right we are taking on this year’s At Home Superheroes event to once again raise money for our friends at Cerebral Palsy Sport.

We’ve set ourselves a target of covering 500 kilometres between 17 July and 14 August with the added dimension of donning superhero costumes. For a sneak peek at our various guises watch the video we made for Cerebral Palsy Sport here

This may be the only time you get to see me dressed as Spiderman so enjoy the challenge while it lasts!

Also taking part from JMW are Steven Brown, Jodie Miller, Kelly Hindle, Rebecca Cahill, Elizabeth Davies, Claire Boardman, Kathryn Ferrari, Katy Coleman, Jessica Bonnick and Hannah Madkour.

We will be joined by Dee Closs-Parry, the mum of one of Steve’s clients with cerebral palsy.

Cerebral Palsy Sport enables people living with cerebral palsy to enjoy being physically active. They provide specialist equipment and support so that whatever the level of disability a person with cerebral palsy is living with, they can participate.

In the clinical negligence team at JMW we have represented several children and young adults with cerebral palsy who have reaped both physical and mental benefits from playing sport. We would love for even more to be involved and that’s why we are supporting Cerebral Palsy Sport again this year.

We would appreciate any donations big, or small, which can be made via our Just Giving page.
