Catherine graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010 where she studied Law and where she obtained a distinction for her LPC. After years of working in the industry, Catherine joined JMW Solicitors in September 2020.

Catherine specialises in Court of Protection cases for people with mental capacity issues. She has experience in managing property and financial affairs of clients who lack mental capacity as a result of brain injury, clinical negligence or due to old age. She assists lay deputies with making applications to court and offers advice regarding their role and responsibilities. Catherine also has experience in acting for claimants in pre-settlement personal injury litigation to ensure they receive and appropriately manage their interim payments to fund rehabilitation and care. Additionally, for those whose compensation claims have concluded, Catherine works hard to create personal injury trusts, as well as manage ongoing trust administration.
