Rachael joined JMW in August 2021 as a Solicitor in the Court of Protection Department.
Rachael has experience in a range of matters including:
- Applications to the Court of Protection
- Deputyship general management
- Administration of Estates
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Enduring Powers of Attorney
Rachael is a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP).
Rachael gained a Distinction upon completing the LPC at Manchester Metropolitan University before qualifying as a solicitor in 2018. She then began practicing in Wills, Trusts, Tax, Probate, Power of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. She developed a particular focus on assisting elderly and vulnerable clients and a knowledge of care funding matters.
Rachael volunteers as a Dementia Friends Champion for the Alzheimer’s Society and is a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys baking and participating in sports including hockey and running.
