JMW Encourages Thomas Cook Employees to Contact Them Following Administration Announcement
JMW’s Employment Law team urges Thomas Cook employees to get in touch following the company’s administration announcement. Affected employees of the world’s oldest travel firm are invited to contact the team to discuss their rights and find out more about the options available to them.
More than 20,000 jobs are now at risk across the world, including 9,000 in the UK, after last-minute negotiations to save the company failed to find a resolution. Up to 600,000 customers are thought to be affected, with a repatriation plan - dubbed Operation Matterhorn - to bring home stranded British tourists estimated to have a potential cost of £600million.
