BACKGROUND

Katie graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class Law degree during 2004 and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester in 2005 gaining a distinction.

Katie joined top tier firm Pannone & Partners as a trainee solicitor during September 2005 and qualified as a solicitor there in September 2007. Katie spent the next 9 years working in the family department with one of the senior partners who also sat as a Deputy District Judge.

Katie joined JMW in July 2016 as a Senior Associate solicitor and became a Partner within the department in May 2018.

Katie has contributed to various legal publications and has delivered lectures to other family law practitioners. Katie also contributed to the Resolution Case Law Handbook.
