Nadia Belkacemi

Personal Injury

Nadia recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a first class honours degree in Law and started working at JMW in November. Whilst at university she studied a wide range of areas of law and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Nadia also worked at the UOM legal advice centre giving pro-bono legal advice in real legal cases. She enjoys travelling, tasting different cuisines and discovering new cultures, having lived with four French friends in her first year at University and spending two months in Dubai with her sister. In her spare time, Nadia likes to go to the gym and taking long walks with her dog; a Rottweiler/German shepherd mix who can walk for miles!

Why did you join JMW?

I was instantly attracted to JMW as it not only has a fantastic reputation but the fact that it is a medium sized firm means that everyone can get to know each other and there is a great atmosphere. This is something I instantly noticed when I joined – everyone is so friendly and welcoming and no-one is ever too busy to lend a helping hand. The wonderful reviews by clients demonstrate that JMW places great importance on customer service, giving very high quality professional advice in a vast array of legal areas, but with a personal touch, and this was the type of firm I wanted to be part of. I look forward to my future here.

Who would you...

Share a pint with:

I would go for a drink with Michelle Obama – I think she is a truly amazing woman and a role model for people everywhere. Not only is she intelligent and accomplished, using the position she has to spark positive change in the world, but she also has a great sense of humour and I’m sure we’d have some fascinating conversations.

Have cook for you:

I’d have Jamie Oliver cook for me – not only does he have a great sense of humour but he also makes cooking delicious food easy and quick! I’m sure he could give me a few tips on quick meals that I could make after a long day at work. He would have to promise to make his double chocolate and cherry brownies for dessert though – I tried to make them but it didn’t go quite as planned!

Stay in with:

I would stay in with my sister. I don’t get to see her very often but when we do have a girls night in it’s always full of laughter, baking and good films. We’d have to have our dog in with us as well – can’t miss him out of the reunion!
