Emet is a Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial Department, having joined as a Paralegal in March 2020 and completed his Training Contract in September 2023. As part of his training contract, Emet undertook seats in Private Client, Intellectual Property, Banking and Corporate and Commercial.
Emet has experience in a wide range of Corporate and Commercial matters and recent highlights include:
- Assisted with the Service Agreement and other commercial legal matters for a technology client who is valued at £40mn;
- Assisted a social media/technology startup on their commercial matters by drafting their Competition Terms and Conditions, User Agreement and Website Privacy Policy;
- Assisted the seller on a private equity deal where the professional services firm was sold for circa £80mn;
- Drafted letters of advice for both minority and majority shareholders for several joint venture agreements and shareholder agreements;
- Assisted a search fund on their purchase of a £5.5mn care home business; and
- Drafted the Privacy Policy, End-User Licence Agreement and Terms and Conditions for a hotel startup.
Emet graduated from King’s College London in 2016 where he studied History and has also completed the LPC course combined with Masters at the University of Law Moorgate. Emet has obtained vacation schemes at international law firms and has worked as a legal intern in the transactional department of a bank in Baku, Azerbaijan.
In his spare time, Emet plays football weekly and travels the country supporting his beloved Tottenham Hotspur F.C.
