Manchester law firm JMW Solicitors LLP has advised a care home operator on its recent acquisition of two further care homes.

Solicitor Vicky Protano led a team from JMW who advised Central England Healthcare Limited, which provides quality care, on its acquisition of The Old Vicarage in Stoke-on-Trent from its former private owners, Mr and Mrs Kilby. The Old Vicarage is registered to provide nursing care for 45 service users and is ‘Excellent' rated by Care Quality Commission.

Richard Wolff, partner and Head of Corporate Recovery and Insolvency then advised the Midlands based care home operator on its purchase, from the administrators, KPMG LLP, of Eversleigh Nursing Home in Wolverhampton. This is the largest acquisition for the operator as the home is registered to provide nursing care for 84 service users.
