Top UK full-service law firm promotes 53 and appoints new Board member
JMW makes 53 promotions across the firm including key Board appointment of 39-year-old Sophie Maryan
Leading full-service law firm JMW has announced 53 promotions across its Manchester, London and Liverpool offices, including appointing Real Estate Residential specialist Sophie Maryan, 39, to the Board, an appointment made while she was on maternity leave with her second child.
JMW now has 10 new partners in its Commercial Litigation, Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Real Estate Commercial, Family and Business Crime and Regulatory offerings, 15 new senior associates and 16 new associates, together with various promotions across the firm’s extensive IT, Facilities and HR teams.

As part of those growth plans last year the firm announced its intention to bring together all of its Manchester-based people in the city’s flagship building, 125 Deansgate, redesigned its City of London offices, Kings House, and expanded its Liverpool offering to include a Clinical Negligence department.
