JMW raising vital funds for disabled childrens charity

As key supporters of children's charity the Legacy Rainbow House the medical negligence team at JMW is keen to be involved with fundraising events that help it to provide its vital services.

One of the biggest events in Rainbow House's fundraising calendar is the Rainbow Ramble and I am happy to report that several members of our team will once again be participating.

It is an annual event and takes place this Saturday (5th April). Our team will join some of the families and children who are helped by Rainbow House for a lengthy walk around the country lanes that surround the charity's base in Mawdesley, West Lancashire.

Rainbow House makes a huge difference to the lives of the children with disabilities and other life-limiting conditions. Children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, which can cause severe disabilities, are helped to fulfil their potential through a form of therapy called conductive education.

The sessions assist their mobility, speech and confidence and help them to achieve milestones their families never thought would be possible.

As solicitors specialising in medical negligence, we are have helped countless children with severe disabilities due to poor medical care to challenge the mistakes that were made. We understand only too well the challenges these children, and their families, face. As well as helping them to find answers about what went wrong and why we help them to secure compensation so they can purchase the items they need to meet these wide-ranging challenges.

Being able to access the right therapies, aids and equipment can make a huge difference to disabled children's quality of life. This is why we believe so passionately in the work that Rainbow House does and have supported it for several years.

We hope to raise as much money as possible on Saturday for Rainbow House and any support that clients and contacts of JMW can give would be gratefully received. You can donate via our Just Giving page which can be found by following this link:

You can also donate by sending the code JMWT50 with the amount to 70070. You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 by text.
