Hong Kong BN(O) Citizenship
From January 2021, BN(O) status holders will be able to apply to enter the UK on a Hong Kong BN(O) visa.
This route gives BN(O) citizens the chance to acquire full British citizenship after six years, which can be passed down through generations to their children. As part of the policy, before coming to the UK, there is no requirement for:
- Skills tests
- Minimum income
- Economic needs tests
- Job offers
However, there are complexities and legal challenges involved in certain situations, for instance, for those wanting to bring their adult children to the UK, and legal support should be sought in order to deal with the Home Office and achieve the desired result.
We can also help individuals who do not currently hold BN(O) status and wish to either reinstate or acquire BN(O) status or move to the UK under other visa categories
