Alex is a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial team at JMW, having joined in November 2022.
He is experienced in a wide range of matters, including:
- Business sales and purchases
- Shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures
- Partnership arrangements
- EMI and growth share schemes
- Employee ownership trusts
- Fundraisings
- Commercial agreements
- General company law and commercial advice
Alex advises clients in a number of sectors (including IT, marketing agencies, logistics, construction and professional services) but has developed a particular specialism for advising property developers on the sale or purchase of special purpose (SPV) property holding companies.
Alex graduated from the University of Brighton before training and qualifying at a boutique corporate firm in London’s West End. Alex joined JMW from a large regional practice.
Outside of work, Alex is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing and watching most sports, including football, rugby, tennis and cricket. Aside from sports, Alex enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with his friends and family.
