Andrew was first appointed over 25 years ago as a Court of Protection deputy for property and affairs for clients who lack capacity. In that time he has dealt with every type of case and client, including those with: injuries as a result of clinical negligence or personal injury including acquired brain injury and birth injuries; clients dealing with claims to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority; psychological injury and PTSD; learning difficulties; mental health illnesses; individuals who have been sectioned; victims of abuse; victims of torture; clients living in isolation; family conflict; financial and other abuse; fluctuating capacity; drug, alcohol and gambling addictions; self-harming and criminal behaviour; clients suffering from dementia and other illnesses.
