Camille qualified as a Solicitor with JMW in November 2026 through the SQE apprenticeship scheme. She first joined the Court of Protection team in January 2022 as a Paralegal.
Prior to joining JMW, Camille studied History and Politics at the University of Cambridge, winning a scholarship in her first year and graduating with a First-Class degree. She converted to Law through a Master's degree from the University of Law, graduating with Distinction. She worked after graduating as a case handler for the National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV), where she assisted applicants to obtain emergency civil injunctions.
Camille works alongside the deputies for a range of property and financial affairs clients. She works hard to build relationships with clients and their families, and to protect vulnerable people. She has experience in preparing complex applications to the Court of Protection, including for authority to:
- Appoint a deputy
- Sell P's property
- Replace or appoint additional trustees under S.54 and S.36 Trustee Act 1925
- Execute a Statutory Will
- Enforce the security bond held by a previous deputy
- Litigate on P's behalf
