Cara joined JMW in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024 in the Private Client Department.
Cara has experience in a wide range of Private Client matters, including:
1. Lifetime estate planning, including drafting Wills and Trusts
2. Personal Injury Trusts
3. Advising in relation to Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Income Tax mitigation
4. Declarations of Trust
5. Probate /Estate Administration
6. Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
7. Trusts and Trust Administration
Prior to joining JMW, Cara graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class Honours degree in Law. She then worked at Hill Dickinson as a Paralegal before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester, achieving a Distinction.
