Chloe joined JMW in July 2021 as a paralegal. She started her training contract in September 2023, before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2025.
She graduated from the University of Law, Chester, with a 2:1 Law degree, before going on to achieve a Master's in Law in Professional Legal Practice, achieving a Distinction grade.
Chloe manages her own caseload on a wide range of clinical negligence matters, including stillbirth and neonatology deaths, gynaecology claims, surgical errors, delays in the diagnosis of cancer, orthopaedic injuries and vision loss claims. Chloe also has experience handling fatal claims and representing families at inquest.
Chloe also assists Sally Leonards and Melissa Gardner (Partners in the department) on high-value clinical negligence work, including complex brain and spinal injury cases. Chloe has assisted on numerous multi-million-pound settlements.
Prior to joining JMW, Chloe worked at a defendant firm in Liverpool, where she assisted on high-value clinical negligence claims and attended client secondment with a specialist maternity NHS Trust. Chloe also had her own caseload.
Chloe also enjoys getting involved in charity work where possible. She was a part of the Manchester Trainee Solicitor Group (MTSG) committee between September 2021 and September 2023. During her time as Charity Director, she organised various charitable activities which raised approximately £19,700 for We Love MCR Charity. Chloe also previously volunteered for Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) helpline.
