Claire in an Associate Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence team at JMW.
With a busy and mixed case-load Claire frequently handle claims relating to orthopaedic injuries, cancer misdiagnoses, surgical errors, and poor nursing care as well as assisting on and running child brain injury cases.
She work across all areas of medical negligence and has a particularly interested in cases involving obstetric and gynaecology care.
Prior to joining JMW Claire worked at Express Solicitors where she completed her training contract. She has worked in clinical negligence since January 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2014.
She completed her degree in Ancient History at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2008. She then studied for a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP in 2009 and completed her Legal Practice Certificate at BPP in 2010.
Claire is a trustee of the charity Jolly Josh, which supports children with complex needs and their families and helps families Jolly Josh support. As well as taking part in fundraisers for the charity. This has included organising a JMW staff quiz and entering a fun run with her family and other JMW team members.
