Danisha Jackson

Danisha graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class Degree in Law. She then went on to study the LPC with a Masters at the University of Law, achieving a Distinction grade.

Danisha has experience dealing with a variety of clinical negligence claims, including the following:

• Orthopaedic including fractures and dislocations

• Cancer including gynaecological, urological and head/neck

• General surgery including appendicitis

• Stillbirth and neonatal death

• Ophthalmic

Danisha’s settled claims include:

• £160,000 in compensation after the misdiagnosis of a bacterial infection caused her client to lose the vision in one of his eyes.
• £70,000 in compensation for a husband after errors meant that his wife's urological cancer went undiagnosed, sadly leading to her untimely death.
• £55,000 in compensation after a woman was prescribed oestrogen-only HRT and her medication was not properly reviewed. This led to her client developing atypical endometrial hyperplasia (a pre-cancerous condition involving thickening of the womb lining) and undergoing a hysterectomy by way of treatment.
