David joined JMW’s Restructuring & Insolvency team in London in February 2024.
David regularly acts for:
- Insolvency office-holders in personal and corporate insolvencies and advises on all aspects of their appointment.
- Directors of companies, LLP members, and charity trustees, advising on pre- and post-insolvency matters and those on the receiving end of office-holder claims.
- Parties affected by enforcement and insolvency processes, including creditors, debtors, spouses of debtors, and landlords / tenants.
Prior to joining JMW, David qualified as a commercial litigator at a niche West End firm before working within insolvency teams at Edwin Coe and Russell-Cooke.
David regularly lectures on and writes about insolvency law and practice. He is also a member of R3 (The Association of Business Recovery Professionals), and has previously sat on the R3 Annual Conference Organising Committee, and the R3 New Professionals Committee for the London region.
Outside of work David enjoys music and playing his bass guitar.
