Georgia joined JMW in March 2023 as a Solicitor in the Employment team, based at the firm’s Manchester office.
Georgia graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a first class honours, before completing her Masters and LPC with a distinction at Nottingham Law School.
Having trained at a regional law firm, Georgia has experience advising across a range of sectors on both contentious and non-contentious matters of employment law, including:
- Advising on redundancy, disciplinary and sickness absence procedures;
- Advising clients in respect of settlement agreements;
- Providing regulatory advice to education and healthcare environments;
- Supporting corporate transactions and advising on TUPE transfers; and
- Preparing clients for employment tribunals, primarily in claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and unlawful deductions from wages.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys horse riding, travelling and sailing in North Wales.
