Georgia graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 1:1 degree, before completing her Masters and LPC with a distinction at Nottingham Law School. After completing her training contract, Georgia joined JMW as a Solicitor in March 2023, and has experience advising across a range of sectors on both contentious and non-contentious matters of employment law, including:
- Advising on sickness absence, disciplinary and redundancy procedures, including collective consultation;
- Negotiating exits and drafting settlement agreements, contracts and employment policies, including complex bonus and commission schemes;
- Supporting corporate transactions, including navigating TUPE transfers and carrying out due diligence on mergers and acquisitions; and
- Preparing clients for employment tribunals, including in claims for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination and unlawful deductions from wages.
Georgia also has experience drafting and advising on restrictive covenants and providing regulatory advice to education and healthcare environments regarding safeguarding and reporting obligations.
Georgia is a champion for the HUB, JMW’s internal network for junior solicitors, which supports its members with bespoke workshops, networking opportunities and wellbeing.
