Holly joined JMW in January 2022 as a paralegal in the Clinical Negligence department. She commenced her Training Contract with the firm, taking seats in other departments before rejoining the Clinical Negligence team as a Solicitor.

Holly graduated from the University of Bristol with a First-class Law degree. During her third year, Holly studied abroad at the National University of Singapore. She went on to study the LPC with LLM at the University of Law in Liverpool, achieving a Distinction. At university she was President of the Medical Law Society.

Holly has assisted on a mixed caseload of clinical negligence claims, including surgical error, neonatal death and still birth, orthopaedic injury, and delayed diagnosis of various conditions. Whilst in the clinical negligence department, Holly volunteered as a Helpline Advisor at Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA).

Prior to joining JMW, Holly worked at the National Centre for Domestic Violence, where she gained experience in assisting particularly vulnerable individuals.

Holly is heavily involved in charity and CSR initiatives both with JMW and outside of the firm. She won JMW’s CSR Champion award for 2023 and was Charity Director of Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group (MTSG) from 2023-2024. Holly is on JMW’s Aspire committee and has also volunteered with various organisations during her time here. Holly has taken part in various fundraising activities raising money for charities, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks and a Firewalk.
