Jade joined JMW in July 2025 and is a Senior Associate in the Employment Team in the London office.
Jade has five years’ experience of working in-house in media, gaming, and technology businesses. She is familiar with advising multinational, high-growth, and scaling companies including both privately owned and equity-backed businesses. In these roles, she amassed a wealth of first-hand experience working in close partnership with, and acting as a trusted adviser to HR teams, senior leadership teams, founders, and C-Suite. This provides her with a deep, unique, and valuable understanding of business operations, priorities, and fast-paced environments that her employer clients work in. Jade is well versed in her client’s need to work at pace, with innovation and employee experience at the centre of decision making and adopts a commercial and solution-focused approach that has minimal impact on the wider workforce.
Jade has experience advising both employer and employee clients on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters throughout the full employment lifecycle. This non-exhaustively includes:
- Advising on employee relations matters (e.g. grievances, performance management, disciplinaries, whistleblowing, discrimination).
- Drafting employment contracts, employee handbooks, and policies.
- Advising on workplace disputes, employee exits and settlement agreements.
- Corporate restructurings and redundancy processes.
- Supporting clients with handling data subject access requests.
- Advising on post-termination restrictive covenants and ongoing confidentiality obligations.
- Advising on contractor engagement frameworks within the IR35 regime.
Jade works with a wide range of clients across a broad spectrum of industries with a specific focus on the technology, media, gaming, and pharmaceutical sectors.
