Kathryn joined JMW as a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning department in May 2025. She has particular expertise in:
- Lifetime estate planning, including drafting Wills with a focus on tax planning and asset protection;
- Creating lifetime trusts and dealing with ongoing trust administration;
- Administration of estates and preparing applications for Grants of Representation;
- Considering mental capacity issues and the preparation of Powers of Attorney.
Kathryn graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2018 and then completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Chester. She qualified as a Solicitor in September 2021 and previously worked at Weightmans Solicitors in Manchester.
In May 2024 Kathryn had a one year career break where she travelled South America, India and Nepal. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys long distance running having previously ran Manchester Marathon.
