Kimberley Peet is a senior associate in the Clinical Negligence Department. She runs a case load which includes a wide range of complex and high-value cases including brain, neonatal and spinal injuries and claims arising from avoidable deaths.

Kimberley has also acted for clients who have suffered avoidable injuries arising from delays in the diagnosis of cancer, orthopaedic injuries, amputations, surgical errors, vision loss, and poor maternity care.

Inquest representation is another area of expertise for Kimberley, and she has considerable experience of providing support and advice to families going through the Coronial process. On a number of occasions, Kimberley's work for these families has helped to ensure a finding that their loved one’s death was contributed to by the neglect of medical staff.

In 2023 Kimberley was made an ambassador for the sight loss charity, Henshaws, due to her support for the charity, fundraising efforts and her commitment to helping to raise awareness of issues affecting people with visual impairments. She has provided free Q&As and webinars offering advice to Henshaws users.

Kimberley completed her law degree at the University of Sheffield in 2011. Before joining JMW, Kimberley worked at former Manchester law firm Pannone. She joined JMW’s clinical negligence department in January 2014 and completed her training contract with the firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 2017.
