Laura joined JMW in January 2024 as a newly qualified solicitor in the Court of Protection team.
Laura has experience in Private Client practice advising clients on many matters including:
- Estate Planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Equity Release mortgages
Laura currently assists clients with Deputyship Applications to manage Property and Financial Affairs for those who lack capacity.
Laura graduated from Newcastle University and completed the LPC with Masters at Liverpool John Moores University. Whilst studying, Laura was a member of the student law clinic where she conducted pro-bono work reviewing files to be submitted to the Criminal Cases Review Commission.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys playing and watching football and is a lifelong Everton fan.
