I am a Senior Associate in JMW's Clinical Negligence team, specialising exclusively in clinical negligence cases since around 2012. I have developed particular expertise in spinal injury cases, especially cases involving cauda equina syndrome, and manage a busy caseload of complex and technically challenging cases on behalf of clients who have suffered life-changing injuries.
I graduated from the University of Leeds with a law degree before completing the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University. I then trained and qualified at a firm in Sheffield before moving to JMW in 2016, where I have continued to develop my specialist practice in clinical negligence work.
I work closely with the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) and have a strong interest in supporting people affected by spinal injuries and neurological conditions, although my practice also includes cases involving birth injury, delays in diagnosis of cancer and cases involving fatalities.
I pride myself on combining a thorough approach to my work with a supportive and approachable manner, helping clients to navigate what is often one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
