Liz is a Senior Associate in JMW's Clinical Negligence team, specialising exclusively in clinical negligence cases since 2012. She has developed particular expertise in spinal injury cases, especially cases involving cauda equina syndrome, and manage a busy caseload of complex and technically challenging cases on behalf of clients who have suffered life-changing injuries.
Liz graduated from the University of Leeds with a law degree before completing the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University. She then trained and qualified at a firm in Sheffield before moving to JMW in 2016, where she has continued to develop her specialist practice in clinical negligence work.
Liz works closely with the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) and has a strong interest in supporting people affected by spinal injuries and neurological conditions, although her practice also includes cases involving birth injury, delays in diagnosis of cancer and cases involving fatalities.
She prides herself on combining a thorough approach to her work with a supportive and approachable manner, helping clients to navigate what is often one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
