Madeleine joined JMW in October 2021 as a Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence Department.

Madeleine has experience in achieving both admissions and settlements in a wide range of clinical negligence case types including:

• Stillbirth and neonatal death claims
• Gynaecology claims
• Delay in diagnosis of cancer claims
• Orthopaedic claims
• Psychiatric claims

Madeleine also has experience in assisting senior fee earners on high value spinal cord injury claims.

Madeleine graduated from the University of Durham with a degree in Law and subsequently gained a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course, also completing a dissertation to gain a Masters in Law. Before moving to JMW, Madeleine was a paralegal at a high street practice in Chester and then completed her training contract and three and a half years of qualification at Irwin Mitchell.

Madeleine also has a keen interest in corporate social responsibility, having completed many competitive runs and events such as Tough Mudder and the Three Peaks Challenge for charity.
