Marcus joined the Employment Team in September 2020 as a partner, having previously worked at Brabners LLP. Marcus has also spent time working in the employment law practise groups at Eversheds and Pinsents.

Marcus predominately supports large and medium sized employers in defending claims brought against them in the Employment Tribunals, and in achieving outcomes in those claims that protect the business and reputation of the clients he supports. Marcus has particularly strong experience of defending complex claims of discrimination and has a consistent record of achieving for clients positive outcomes in those cases. He still regularly appears as an advocate in the Employment Tribunals. Beyond helping businesses navigate through employment tribunal litigation, he regularly supports them in managing large scale employee change programmes, often involving the TUPE regulations.

Marcus mainly works with businesses in the hospitality sector, acting for many national high street restaurant chains and hotel businesses.

Not surprisingly given the sorts of businesses he works with, Marcus enjoys food and cooking. He is also a very keen skier and enjoys getting to the European Alps each season!
