Nadia Valentine

Nadia is a Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence team at JMW.

Nadia has extensive experience dealing with a wide range of clinical negligence matters including:

• Orthopaedic injuries
• Delay in diagnoses of cancers
• Birth injuries to baby and mother
• Surgical negligence
• Mismanagement of care

She has also been involved in cases involving the avoidable death of a loved one, where she also represents clients at Inquests alongside Counsel.

Nadia graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a 1st class degree in Law, and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and achieved a Distinction. Whilst completing her Legal Practice Course, she worked as a legal assistant in clinical negligence. Shortly after she completed her Legal Practice Course, she was promoted to trainee solicitor and completed her training contract in August 2024.

• Secured £36,500 for the mother of a baby girl who was stillborn, following a failure to identify signs that she was suffering with an infection and refer her for further assessment.
• Secured £18,000 for a 77 year old woman who was left unsupervised in a hospital and fell; she suffered a fractured hip and had to undergo surgical repair.
• Secured £17,500 for a 41 year old woman who suffered a delay in diagnosis of a tibia fracture.
• Secured £26,000 for a 42 year old man who suffered a delay in diagnosis of testicular torsion.
