Rachael joined JMW in August 2021 in the Court of Protection Department.
She now acts in a wide range of complex property and affairs matters, including contested deputyship applications, statutory will disputes, and applications involving significant gifting or estate planning considerations. Rachael regularly represents parties at Court of Protection hearings, drawing on her extensive advocacy experience to support clients through sensitive and often highly contested proceedings.
Rachael also provides specialist training to organisations on all aspects of Court of Protection practice, including deputyship management, best interests decision making, and the preparation of Court of Protection applications.

Rachael is a Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP) and qualified as such through Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a fully accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers.
She achieved a Distinction in the LPC before qualifying as a solicitor in 2018. Since then, she has developed a strong focus on supporting elderly and vulnerable clients, including those with complex care funding needs.
