Rebecca is a Senior Associate in the Medical Negligence Department.
Rebecca brings a wealth of experience and has specialised solely in medical negligence claims since the start of her legal career.
She has a busy caseload and works with a variety of clients who have suffered avoidable harm as a result of failures in the NHS and private health sector. Rebecca’s current case load includes claims concerning spinal injuries, avoidable amputations, stillbirths, cancer misdiagnosis, vision loss and orthopedic injuries.
Rebecca also has vast experiencing investigating fatal claims and has successfully concluded a number of claims arising from the death of a loved one for bereaved families. She offers inquest representation to support families going through this process.
Having joined the JMW medical negligence department in 2016 as a paralegal, Rebecca qualified as a solicitor within the team in March 2018.
She graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BA honours degree in Law and Criminology, Rebecca then went on to study at the College of Law in Chester and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course, for which she gained a distinction. Whist studying, Rebecca volunteered as a Special Constable for Merseyside Police.
