Rhys joined JWM as a Solicitor in the Employment team of the Manchester office in March 2026.
Rhys studied undergraduate Law at the University of Plymouth and graduated with a first-class honours, before completing his MSc in Law and Business Management and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, where he achieved a distinction grade.
Rhys initially began his legal journey in the Employment team at a firm in Plymouth, before moving to Manchester to join JMW's Employment team. Rhys has experience in a full range of both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Advising employers or HR enquiries and processes, including redundancy, sickness absence, and disciplinary and grievance procedures;
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on contract of employment, workplace policies and settlement agreements; and
- Supporting employers and employees throughout Employment Tribunal Claims and the ACAS Early Conciliation process.
