Tom Woodier

Trainee Solicitor

Tom is currently a Trainee Solicitor at JMW.

Before starting his Training Contract, Tom spent 18 months in the Real Estate Commercial department as a Paralegal, assisting on all aspects of acquisitions of Commercial Property.

Tom graduated from Newcastle University in 2018 with a 2:1 in LLB Law. Tom then completed his LPC and Masters at the University of Law in Manchester in June 2022, with electives in Advanced Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Commercial Law and Mergers & Acquisitions. Tom achieved a Distinction in both his LPC and Masters.

Prior to JMW, Tom started his legal career as a Paralegal working for Blackstone Solicitors in Residential Property, before going on to work for DWF Law in the Commercial Real Estate department for almost 2 years. At DWF, Tom worked in the Telecoms team assisting both transactional and litigation fee earners in the progression of Telecommunication matters.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys running and going for walks with his dog, Rupert. Tom also plays football regularly for his Saturday team and socially at JMW.
