Paralegal London Business Crime and Regulation
Tom joined JMW as a Paralegal in the Business Crime and Regulation department in May 2019. He supports Lee Adams with his work, which covers a range of business and general crime cases.
Prior to joining JMW, Tom worked as a Research Analyst for the Boards Practice of a global executive search firm. After two years, Tom left this role to go to law school, before eventually working as a Paralegal in the pro bono department of a civil litigation firm. This role involved day-to-day management of a large caseload of clients who had suffered catastrophic injuries. As well as assisting with potential personal injury claims, Tom provided legal support and advice on a range of non-claim issues relating to personal injury, such as housing, welfare and finance issues, insurance claims, powers of attorney and deputyship applications.
Tom has a GDL and LPC from BPP University and an MA in Art History from the University of St Andrews. Tom is specifically interested in criminal defence work and cases involving individual defendants.
