Solicitor Manchester Commercial Litigation
Caroline is a solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team and joined JMW shortly after qualifying in May 2017, having trained nearby at boutique litigation firm, berg.
Caroline has acquired experience dealing with:
- civil fraud;
- intellectual property disputes including claims for trademark infringement and passing off;
- professional negligence claims; and
- breach of contract disputes.
Caroline deals with a variety of commercial disputes and day-to-day mostly deals with high-value complex claims in the High Court. Caroline also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration (London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA)).
Caroline completed a non-law undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool and then attended the University of Law where she completed her GDL and LPC. On graduating, Caroline gained experience in law firms in Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne before working as a paralegal at DWF and international firm Bird & Bird (London).
Caroline recently became a committee member of Manchester Law Society’s Civil Litigation Committee and is a member of the Manchester Young Solicitors Group. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys HIIT classes, hiking, sailing in sunnier climes and spending time with family and friends.
